With over 100 acres, Meadowlark includes ornamental display gardens, walking trails, lakes, more than twenty varieties of cherry trees, irises, peonies, and an extensive shade garden. Of special interest are three distinct Virginia native plant collections: the Potomac Valley river basin; native trees; and native wetlands. Visitors can learn about and experience the differences between native species and horticultural plant selections. Open daily except major holidays.
