Along the way to Sonoma and Napa Valley wine country is the Cornerstone Festival of Gardens, the first gallery-style garden exhibit in the US. Over nine-acres of gardens, garden design and art showcase innovative design from leading landscape architects and designers. One of the current exhibits, “A Lullaby Garden,” by Andy Cao and Xavier Perrot, was inspired by the 19th century woodblock prints of Japanese artist Hokusai. In addition to approximately 19 other gardens, there’s a café, shops, galleries, plus information on the designers and the process of creating their installations.
