The six-acre site is located at the north end of campus on a bluff over looking the City of Seattle and Elliott Bay. The Seattle Chinese Garden borders the Arboretum. Although the Arboretum is considered by many to be most spectacular in spring, it has year-round interest with its beautiful rose gardens, brilliant foliage color in autumn, and numerous winter blooming plants. The Arboretum is also known for its extensive and unique collections of dwarf conifers.
