The 1,800-acre Wild Animal Park is a wildlife sanctuary that is home to more than 3,500 animals representing more than 400 species. Its botanical collection represents 3,500 species and 1.5 million specimens. More than half of the Park has been set aside as protected native species habitat. Horticulturists, arborists, and gardeners have created outstanding natural habitats, such as the Australian rain forests. The accredited species collection includes: Acacias, Aloes, Bamboo, Coral and Fig Trees, Orchids, Cycads.
