This 12-acre estate and garden is a project of the Garden Conservancy, a national non-profit garden preservation organization. The garden, developed by three generations of the Van Vleck family, features a choice collection of rhododendrons, azaleas, and other broad-leaved evergreens. The formal gardens extend from the turn-of-the-century Italianate villa. Open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, free of charge.
