Designated a National Historic Site, the Presby Garden was established in 1927 at Mountainside Park as a memorial to Frank H. Presby, one of America's leading horticulturists and founder of the American Iris Society. The Gardens features a collection of six species with over 4,000 varieties of world-famous irises-some dating back as far as the 1500's, as well as rare irises.
