With over 3,500 acres of display gardens, horticultural collections and nature trails, The Holden Arboretum is one of the largest arboretums in the U.S. Home to flora from all over the world, it features a Butterfly Garden, Wildflower Garden, Rhododendron Garden, and much more. There are over 20 miles of trails, as well as cross-country skiing and dog-walking. Holden offers activities, special events, horticultural classes and children’s programs throughout the year.
