This special high altitude five-acre garden is located just south of Ketchum, in the Wood River Valley area, adjacent to Sun Valley. It showcases the region’s five native plant communities: riparian, lava desert, sagebrush steppe, montane and alpine habitats. Of special interest: the Garden of Infinite Compassion, surrounded by an aspen grove and alpine plants. Its focal point is a beautifully carved Tibetan prayer wheel, blessed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama when he visited in 2005.Open daily from dawn until dusk; free.
