Located on over 30 acres in Encinitas, California, Quail Botanical Gardens features rare bamboo groves, desert gardens, a tropical rainforest, California native plants, Mediterranean climate landscapes, and a subtropical fruit garden. In April of 2003, Quail introduced the West Coast's first interactive children's garden, the Seeds of Wonder, which was given an Honor Award from the San Diego Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA).
