The four-acre GPC Native Plant Garden, situated in a flood plain near a tributary of the South River creek, includes ¾ mile of easy walking trails. There are over 4000 species of native and endangered plants indigenous to the Southeast. The Ferns of the World Garden is one of the largest collections of temperate zone ferns in the U.S., and one of the top 40 collections in the world.
