October 19 – 21. Sponsored by the Charleston Horticultural Society and the Middleton Place Foundation, this year’s theme, “Charleston Green ¯ What’s Old is New Again,” emphasizes green gardening. Highlights: exhibit gardens where landscape designers create their interpretation of “Charleston Green;” tours of historic Middleton Place plantation and gardens; lectures; demonstrations; workshops; children’s area and much more. Also available are tours of some of the finest private gardens in the historic district of Charleston, such as the garden in the photo.
